About Wilson Travel
Wilson Travel Agency operates primarily within a 50 mile radius of Cobleskill which includes all of
Schoharie county and parts of Schenectady, Albany, Delaware, Greene, Otsego and Montgomery.
Wilson Travel was founded in 1978 by Lewis and Barbara Wilson. They had some assistance
from various travel professionals throughout the area to make the agency what it is today. In 1978
the agents had to do all of the work without computers, which meant a lot of phone calls and
referring to big thick manuals, which is where you got flight schedules from. We laugh now, but
often agents took tickets home with them to be hand written. Wilson Travel was first located on
Elm Street in Cobleskill, then several other locations throughout the village of Cobleskill. We are
now located on main Street in Cobleskill across from Burger King in the brick building with the
water wheel out front (see picture above). Please stop by to say Hello and let us help make your

Robbyn Archer
Robbyn Archer, has been in the Travel Industry for over 17 yrs. After college she was employed
as a Travel Agent for Avenues of the World in New Jersey. Upon leaving there she went on to
work for Piedmont Airlines at Newark NJ and then moved to Syracuse, NY when Piedmont and
USair merged. Robbyn then moved with USair to Boston Ma living there for three years before
she transferred to Albany International. She has since left the airlines but continue to work in the
travel industry as a travel agent here at Wilson travel and look forward to serving you.
